My two sons are both avid readers and I frequently leave them to find their way around a bookstore. Usually I have to go looking for them because they'll be curled up in an armchair reading the top book on the pile they've accumulated ;-).<br /><br />My oldest son who reads an astonishing amount, was also put off a few books that he should've been enjoying because of BOOK TALK/REPORT at school. What is with the way literacy and reading is taught today?<br /><br />Sorry for the long, ranty post.
